These now healthy specimens were sown last July. They took a bit of a battering from slugs and then got covered in snow for over a week. I thought I might lose one or more of them.
But, a bit of tender loving care, home grown liquid fertiliser and weeding seems to have done the trick.
It looks now as though I’ll harvest my first cabbage next week.
