Hi, my name is Pete McClymont and I am a serial blogger.
Currently I work as a web content manager in local government. I’m not a techie and not a professional comms person. But, I ‘ve got enough skills to both contribute insight and be dangerous.
I have spent most of my life working in the public sector, but before moving to Devon I was a lobbyist for a major European airline. I’d be happy to debate the environmental impact of aviation!
I’m passionate about:
- community
- vegetables
- Tottenham Hotspur FC
- baseball (most of my growing up was in the US)
This latest blog started out as a place to track the sometimes pathetic progress of my allotment and life in a small, but active Devon village. More recently, I’ve started to post job related stuff.
So, there’s likely to be an odd juxtaposition of web projects, community activism and broad beans.
You can follow me on Twitter: @iamadonut
Please note that all opinions expressed here are my own.

love the blog! my partner and i fell about as we believe we may have recognised ‘Bill’, is it my father? Jim? the gentleman with the end and second to end allotments?
I wonder if I can impose upon you to inform me as to how things are going on regarding his polytunnel?
I have added this website to my favourites and if there is anything I can do to help ( I have plenty of webspace to spare!) then please do not hesitate to ask.
regards
Suzanne
PS I am the oldest one (48)
I just wanted you to know that I have created a green bloggers forum on which you can post a description of your blog and a link to your site. No reciprocal link to my site is required . . . just want to spread the word about good green blogs and have people take a look at my site. Go to http://www.webuyitgreen.com, select the green forum button, register for the forum, select the Nonprofits Resources and Discussions forum, then select the Green Blogs subforum, and post your thread.
